The Retreat
For the past nine years, Yoga Kiran has been guiding seekers on a journey that is not just outward into the majestic Himalayas but inward, into the deepest layers of the self. These retreats have become sacred spaces where people from all walks of life come to pause, reflect, and reconnect: with nature, with the breath, and with their own inner wisdom.
Through daily practices of asana, pranayama, guided meditations, nature walks, nourishing sattvic meals and living in ashram, we nurture the body, steady the breath, and awaken our spirit to live in an aligned way.
When you leave this retreat, you will not simply carry memories — you will carry clarity. A clarity on how to live with less physical & mental disturbance, more grace, and the strength to move in harmony with the deeper truth of your being.

The Journey
Day Wise Itinerary
4th November 2025 - Arrival into Stillness
You will be received at Rishikesh or Dehradun airport and driven to Uttarkashi in a quiet village on the banks of Ganga. After settling into your room with tea and rest, we gather for the opening circle to meet each other, set intentions, and close the day with gentle practice and Yoga Nidra.
5th November 2025 - Grounding with Ganga
We begin with sunrise yoga, pranayama, and cleansing breathwork. The day unfolds with self-reflective sessions and guidance on the art of sitting with oneself. In the afternoon, we walk silently with Ganga, letting her current teach us acceptance. Evening brings a sharing circle and meditation.
6th November 2025 - Silence & Flow
Morning practice opens the body and breath, preparing us for deeper inner exploration. After meals, there is time for journaling, reflection, or simply being with the river. In the evening, we walk along the Ganga, closing the day with a night meditation and Yoga Nidra.
7th November 2025 - Expansion at Nachiketa Taal
Today, we journey to Nachiketa Taal, a sacred lake in the forest. The legend of Nachiketa inspires our reflections, while silence and nature hold us in meditation. The still waters mirror our own stillness. By evening, we return to Uttarkashi for rest and quiet integration.
8th November 2025 - Pilgrimage to Gangotri
A full-day pilgrimage to Gangotri, the revered source of the Ganga. We walk in the forests, sit in meditation at Surya Kund, and visit saints/yogis in their ancient caves. It is a day of devotion, silence, and listening. By nightfall, we return to Uttarkashi carrying Gangotri in our hearts.
9th November 2025 - Integration & Closing Ceremony
Morning yoga and meditation bring us back into our bodies. The day is devoted to integration – reflections, Q&A, and group sharings. We gather in a closing circle, receiving certificates as symbols of what we truly carry within: clarity, insight, and renewed presence.
10th November 2025 - Departure | A New Beginning
On our final morning together, we gather for a nourishing sattvic breakfast, and soak in the river’s quiet presence one more time. With hearts a little lighter and spirits deeply renewed, we prepare for departure. Transportation will be arranged to Dehradun or Rishikesh, carrying you back into the world – though the rhythm of the Ganga and the stillness of the Himalayas will remain with you long after you leave.

“As the rivers flowing east and west merge in the sea, so the
wise, losing name and form, go unto the divine beyond all.
– Mundaka Upanishad
Ashram Accommodation
